Your Checkout Page Has Never Been Better
The checkout page is arguably the most important page on your site - it’s the make-or-break point where your customers commit or click away.
That’s why we focused on making this part of Occasion as seamless and beautiful as possible.
With space to answer all the questions, see available times, and a prominent Book Now button, this customer-engaging Checkout page is now better than ever!

The New Checkout Experience is here! We’re excited to show you all of the great changes we’ve made - so let’s get started!
Landing Pages
Checkout now starts with a beautiful landing page.
- This page is more visually appealing and mobile-friendly.
- An image gallery at the top engages the customer immediately. You can add up to 5 images per listing.
- The Description section now has its own full page, eliminating the “Read more” links. You can create sections and highlight as many details as you’d like.
- No one shops without knowing how much they are spending, right? To answer the “how much does this cost” question, we’ve added a Starting at price right next to the Book Now button. Don’t worry - we show the starting price only when there is one-type of pricing and only on Public events.
Quick and easy-to-read schedule and availability
- Customers just want to know what's available - so we improved how times are shown. Whether a listing is available once a month or several times a day, your customers see a condensed list of the seven nearest available booking times. They can still get to all of the available times by clicking on the More dates button.
- Availability is simplified. If more than 10, it displays "10+". If less, exact numbers like "9 left" are shown.

Intuitively, encourages customers to add multiple times to the cart for a discount
The new Checkout makes it super easy and intuitive for customers to buy multiple dates and get a discount.
The Customer receives real-time feedback on how many more times to add before the discount can be auto-applied.
Series-Style Events
Don’t you love it when a customer signs up for a whole series of classes? We do! That’s why we maintained this capability on the redesigned Checkout page.
Customers just click the Book Now button, and all dates in the series are automatically added to the checkout.
Waitlist
It’s as easy as 1-2-3 for your customers to add themselves to the Waitlist for sold-out events! Keep those empty seats filled at your most popular events and times!
Waitlist is, now, hidden on all Private events. No party crashers.
Upsell more items as add-ons
Instead of showing weird inventory counts, like “999, 291 available,” we simply show “99+ available” for any item with more than 99 items in stock.
Sold-out items are now noted as such and cannot be added to checkout. Simple.
